agree -it’s a tricky one – just commented in another blog how really angry we women (ie godesses) can get when we’re p-d off. You do not want Boudicea coming at you while you’re just sitting about being a fat Roman. While I wouldn’t want to deny a sister’s right to be out there – and let’s face it there are plenty out there now – I think conscription of women for battle-forces needs to be balanced by conscription for the church. Ridiculous we get to one and we can’t get the other.
