you are right, he has just described bread. and i find i agree with him, haha. i shall look at bread very differently now, as a cake without the frosting and sweetness.
Bread’s great and all, don’t get me wrong, but as a dessert it’s just not at the same level as cake.
I’m very particular about my cake, I only like specific kinds. It’s like if I’m going to invest in all those calories, it had better be some darn good cake. I won’t go all willy-nilly and just eat a bunch of plain cake. Here is a cake I will eat http://allrecipes.com/recipe/tres-leches-milk-cake/

But great bread – like really great warm-out-of-the-oven bread is sometimes just soooo gooooooood!
No question. I love bread, too. But cake is the best.
