#684 – Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

I make grilled cheese sandwiches quite often, and my wife swears by them. Even I’ll admit they’re pretty good.

    1. First, you put the butter directly in the pan, not on the bread. Let the butter melt, the place the first slice of bread in the pan and move it around so it gets coated in butter. Next, place your cheese (I like sharp cheddar, though my wife prefers Munster) and the second slice of bread. When the first slice of bread is golden brown and crispy around the edges, remove it from the pan, drop another small pat of butter in the pan, and flip the sandwich and move it around to coat the second piece of bread. When it’s done, take the sandwich out, cut it in half diagonally, and enjoy!
