We had troubles getting into a restaurant last night. We ended up eating at a third restaurant, where we got a table immediately. The food was delicious.

Hmm.. very familiar scenario. Boohoo. How long did you end up waiting for in the end? Hope they didn’t keep hinting that you should leave asap too lol – like when they “forget” your coffee order at the end and bring you the bill instead (true story) 😛
We waited at the second restaurant for half an hour, then ended up eating at the wine bar next to it (owned by the same people; we’d actually waited in the bar the whole time). Things weren’t as crowded or rushed there, so we got to take our time.
