Don’t get me wrong, I’ve enjoyed playing Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. It’s a fun game, but it’s just too damn long. I started playing it back in October, for crying out loud. I’m not sure every game has to give us 100 hours of play time or it’s crap or anything like that. Maybe just give me fifteen to twenty hours of solid, well-made game, and I’ll be okay with that.
And yeah, that’s an Odyssey reference. I’m all literary and crap, yo.
It’s been a while. I might be a bit rusty.
I try so hard to be stealthy in Assassin’s Creed games. And for a short time, it goes very well. Then someone happens to see me, and suddenly I’m fighting a whole platoon of soldiers. Every time.
The Wife really wants me to spend all my free time playing Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, but there are other things I would like to do, too.
Meredith is an able and much too eager assassin.
I started playing back through Assassin’s Creed II this weekend in anticipation of the new one coming out next month. I do love Ezio’s story and arc, and always enjoyed his games. Desmond…well, let’s not talk about the stick in the mud, and Connor left me feeling kinda flat.
It’s Meredith’s birthday today! As promised, no assassination today. Tomorrow, though…
I do miss Ezio in ACIII, but Connor has grown on me,
However, I myself have not spent time in the animus, and therefore cannot do parkour.
I am so ready for the new Assassin’s Creed game. Next week! Very excited.
