It’s the last day of school! Peace out, students!

Last day is Friday. So close, yet so far.

We have a massively-heavy rolltop desk in the bedroom. The Wife has been after me for ages to get rid of the monstrosity.
Coincidentally, I have a rolltop desk for sale to literally anyone who can carry it away.

I will invariably end up spending the first few days of my summer break napping like a champ. It happens every year.

It’s finals week! I’m ready for it to be over already.

The only good thing about summer (aside from school being out) is going to swim! I love swimming.

The last few days of the school year are always a challenge. The kids are ready to be done, and start asking things like, “Why are we still doing work? Doesn’t the school year end next week?” To which I reply, “Yes, it does. It ends next week, which means this week we are still in school, and still doing things.”
They do not care for this answer.

It’s the end of the school year, the time when students suddenly show concern for their grades. You’d never know they’d spent the previous four quarters avoiding assignments and complaining about homework and quizzes.
