By the time this is posted, I’ll be done with summer school, done with the final exam for my online course, and I’ll have had dinner with one of my former students who just graduated college a few months ago. Sunday, I’m bound for Kansas City, and from there on to Oklahoma for a visit with my family. Comics should continue as normal during this time.
The Wife could sleep through a cannon shot through our bedroom. Seriously. Waking her up in the morning is a challenge and a half.
Unless I absolutely bomb the final, I’ll easily have a B in the class, which is good enough for me.

At the Wife’s birthday party Saturday night, so e friends suggested muumuus for cats. I immediately suggested “meowmeows,” which I’m pretty sure is a million dollar idea. Also, the term Meowmeows is now ™ and (c) me. So yeah.
Just a quick self portrait in a more detailed or realistic style than normal. Trying out a new stylus I got today from a Kickstarter campaign I backed a few months ago. Pretty pleased with the smoothness of it, and the timing was nice, too, since my old stylus has been feeling a little off lately (the rubber of the tip has broken down and cracked, it seems).
Took the students bowling Friday. I didn’t do so hot, but in my defense, my arms and wrists have been really sore since I ran into a wall playing kickball Tuesday.
I have a pair of Tom’s I’ve been wearing for a couple of months straight. Without socks they are pretty funky. Like, visible stink lines funky.
