I’ve been visiting my father, who lives out in what can charitably be called the boonies. It’s a place full of insects, as I found out to my frustration and torment this weekend. Chiggers are horrible, horrible bugs.

It’s been a relaxing trip to Oklahoma so far.

This was the drawing my brother commissioned from me for his birthday. I delivered it to him Monday afternoon, and he was mightily pleased with it.

I had brisket Wednesday and ribs Thursday. I am in meat heaven.

Made it down into Oklahoma Tuesday; visiting with my grandparents at the moment. Good times.
#615 – Adult Conversation
Been visiting we my brother and his wife and child up in Kansas City. It’s been fun, but I feel my brother is a little sad I’m leaving. It’s mostly just him, the kid, and the dog while his wife is at work.

I’m off on my annual trip to visit family in Oklahoma. Sadly, the Wife could not join me this year, and she’s taking it…a little hard.
Weekend Sketch #6 – Packing
I’m starting my packing for my trip out to visit family this week. Packing entails a lot of difficult decisions, like what shirts to take.
In this particular instance, I made the only choice I could, really: I packed both shirts.
