Sketch a Day, Day 429
The song is “Last House on the Street,” by the Young Dubliners. It’s a song a band my uncle used to be in played sometimes. Hillbilly chords are basic, open chords like G or C.
And in case you’re curious, you can capo in the 4th fret and do it all with G, C, F, Em, and Am.
Sketch a Day, Day 428
It’s a pretty neat documentary, really. Basically a camera crew sitting around chatting with Lynne and guys like Tom Petty, George Harrison’s wife and son, Ringo Starr, and Paul McCartney. You can find it here.

Yup, it’s true love.

Going away for the weekend. Hopefully I’ll be able to update while I’m away, but no promises.

The cats do this all the time. I don’t know if they think I need them or what, but it’s more than a little weird.

My wife loves that song, possibly because of all the different variations she can do about people and things around her (mostly the cats).

Had a weird issue with the washing machine overnight. Easy fix, just had to pull a washcloth out of the drain that had stopped it up and kinda sorta flooded the laundry room. Good times.
