Rollin’ and Tumblin’

So I broke down and signed up for a tumblr today. I’ll post links to the comics and answer questions folks might have any whatnot. And probably some non-comic-related stuff as well, because I gotta have some reason for updating another social media site.

So, y’know, feel free to check it out and stuff.

  1. What made you break down and do it? ๐Ÿ˜‰
No seriously I’ve always wondered what the difference is. My friend tells me WordPress is more for writers and Tumblr is more for crรฉatives. But most Tumblr pages I stumble across (perhaps this is because I click through from Pinterest) seem to be people reposting images that are not properly credited to the original source. I always take great pains to pin from the original or not at all. And often I’m wandering around in Tumblr land following one link to the next to no avail.
Sorry this sounds like a rant, really it’s not. I’m genuinely hoping you can enlighten me. Happy Tumblr-ing ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. I dunno, it just seemed like it might be a fun place to post random stuff that doesn’t fit on the blog proper. I do agree that proper crediting of sources doesn’t seem to be tumblr’s forte, but I’m doing it mostly to follow a couple of webcomic guys (RK Millholland of Something Positive and David Willis of Shortpacked!/Dumbing of Age fame, for example) because they post process stuff and random arty goodness there.

I also like the ask box thing, and hope I get some use out of that.
