So during our beach trip, two of my nieces – Annabelle and Charlotte – both got stung by a jellyfish. Charlotte was a little guy shy about getting back in the water after that.
Also, the Gulf is approximately that greenish-brown color. There’s a lot of silt in that body of water from the Mississippi River.
Annabelle wanted to go swimming every single day we were in Oklahoma. And, as hot as it usually is there, I don’t blame her, but I haven’t been able to hear out of my right ear in almost two weeks now.
The city of Arlington was under several feet of water on Monday, apparently. A la Waterworld.
We’re headed to the beach this weekend, so I thought another of the unused commission images would be appropriate.
As the week draws to a close, so too does my vacation at the beach. But we had fun! The Wee Baby Donovan likes to pretend he’s a shark (or a dinosaur, depending on the circumstances) and go around eating everyone’s arms and legs. Truly, he lives every week like it’s Shark Week.
You might get hepatitis, though. Or zika, I guess.
