Showed a Bob Ross video to a kid at camp this summer, and he zonked right out. Kid was just lulled by Bob’s dulcet, sonorous tones.

Little kids are wild, y’all.
The summer job was fun but strange. Working with small children is a whole different challenge than working with high schoolers. The kids I was working with specifically all fit a very specific profile. What profile, you ask? Let’s say the Venn diagram of kids who really like Minecraft/Roblox and kids who are somewhere on the autism spectrum is just a single circle.

I’ve been working a summer job as a camp instructor for something called Creator Camp here in Northern Virginia. It’s been fun, working with little kids (most of them are between the ages of 6 and 12) and teaching them things like video editing techniques and stuff like that. They are rather dubious of my surgical skills, as they probably should be.
