Sketch a Day, Day 219
Here in the United States, we’re celebrating Independence Day, which of course involves fireworks and trips to the burn ward if done properly. We spent the evening watching the parents of one of our students set off one of the most impressive fireworks displays we’d ever seen. In a residential neighborhood. It was nifty.
Stoplight Skyline Photography
While driving home yesterday, I saw some pretty impressive skyline views here in Northern Virginia. I decided to try to capture some of those views with my phone using the Hipstamatic app. I’m pretty pleased with the shots I came up with, which you’ll find below.
