Since we got back from the beach, it’s done nothing but rain here in northern Virginia. We haven’t experienced any flooding at our place, but the area has been under flood watches and warnings all week.

As the week draws to a close, so too does my vacation at the beach. But we had fun! The Wee Baby Donovan likes to pretend he’s a shark (or a dinosaur, depending on the circumstances) and go around eating everyone’s arms and legs. Truly, he lives every week like it’s Shark Week.

Despite my sunburn, I returned to the beach today (wearing a shirt the whole time to combat the lobster effect). There are few things I love more than floating in the water.
