I’ve been hard at work writing a series of short stories (and a couple of novels) about a hard-boiled detective named Eddie Hazzard. This is a bit of concept art for the cover of the short story collection, Hazzardous Materials. Yes, it’s a pun. No, I don’t have a sense of shame.
It’s the main character for my novel, Detective Hazzard! He is hard boiled.
Someday, my artist will be able to get the second page of the super-secret comic project drawn, and then we can maybe start posting it over at its site. Until then, have a sketch of the main character (who’s also the main character of my novel).
