I really do not like needles. At all. I would make a terrible heroin addict, ’cause I’d always be trying to find other ways to get the stuff into my system. Needles skeeve me the hell out.

Anyway, today I had to go to the doctor and get some blood drawn for routine labs. I have notoriously difficult to find veins: they’re deep, small, and tend to roll when a nurse attempts to stab them with a needle. I’ve had times when they tried both arms and both hands and still not hit a vein. Meanwhile, I’m in needle-stuck agony and trying very hard not to pass out (I really do not like needles). They usually end up having more luck with my hands than the inside of my elbows, so nowadays we just go straight to the hand.

Anyway, long story short, I had blood drawn today. And then I did a drawing of blood drawing. It’s some recursive nonsense up in here.
