A few weeks back, I was working on a big commission series about a Wall Street-type guy who falls through a hole in space and ends up fighting to defend a ship from all sorts of threats. I sorta got lost in the narrative I was creating and forgot it was just, um, a metaphor for a company guiding investors or whatever. The client ended up not using this image, so I thought I’d share it here instead.
These are two of the comics I made for the commission I mentioned last week. These two were, sadly, rejected by the client, but I’d already drawn and colored them and didn’t want them to go to waste. So, um, enjoy?
I know students want their PowerPoint presentations to look neat and different and all, but there are some color combinations that just don’t work. You definitely don’t use two colors that’re right next to each other on the color wheel like that.
We all get strange thoughts. They’re not bad, just odd.
There’s a reason I don’t do color.
Just playing around with design a bit.
Actually, she often offers to do this, or insists that I draw her nude. Don’t know that I’ll share any of that here, though.
I think this should catch me back up from the comic I missed last week.
