I trim my beard, it grows out and reaches an optimal length, and then it’s suddenly too long. But you can’t just trim it to the perfect, optimal length, it seems.

My beard is too short when it’s just been trimmed, but then it reaches this optimal length where I’m very happy with it. And then, suddenly and quite without warning, in a split second it goes from optimal length to too long and unruly. It’s annoying.
