As I’m still two comics behind, I figured a quick sketch would be a good way to knock out some of the deficit. I did this one on actual paper! That doesn’t happen much anymore, though it’ll probably happen more next month when I’m visiting family (many of whom lack basic, fundamental things like wifi).

Saw the movie Serenity at the Arlington Cinema & Draft House over the weekend. Man, I love that movie. Makes me want to rewatch Firefly again for about the 10th time.

I’m teaching a friend of mine’s son how to play the guitar. It’s going well, except that he doesn’t
really have the attention span to work for very long.

I always add an “o” into “mustache.” I don’t know why. I think it looks better that way.

After checking out a new follower’s site earlier today, I decided it might be fun to do some facial expressions. I love cartooning, because I can create a variety of very clear expressions and emotions with very few lines. I find the eyebrows and mouth especially useful for conveying a character’s inner feelings.
