In the morning, it’s back to school for us. Teacher Inservice Week is a tolerable transition from vacation for most, but some have a bit more trouble getting back into the swing of things than others.
A conversation I had with Allison the other day. It’s true, there are plenty of dumbasses in our world, and I have to deal with entirely too many of them.
While we enjoyed our visit out west, it was nice to finally get home and do things like sleep in our own bed and not have to spend hours sitting in the car anymore.
We brought my brother and sister-in-law’s cat to my wife’s aunt and uncle’s farm today. The poor thing had not adjusted to life in Kansas City (in a small apartment) well after being a mostly-outdoor cat for most of her life. We’ve got her out in the barn here, and she loves it.
While driving through the state of Missouri yesterday, i kept seeing signs for MoDOT, which ostensibly stands for Missouri Department of Transportation. I had…other ideas.
