As ever, Earl remains a terrible guardian angel. Like, the absolute worst.
Years ago, Adam and I were working on a possible comic that would have featured Earl babysitting a half-demon demon hunter as punishment for his crappy job performance. I may yet write that story someday.
I mean, what’s a little surgery without anesthetic between a guy and his guardian angel?
Y’know how the best way to pull a loose tooth is quickly while you’re not ready for it? Cutting off a tail is like that, only much more painful.
Earl is not good at his job.

This is, to my knowledge, the first time Michelle and Earl the Archangel have been in a comic together! And I’m too lazy to look back through the archive and check to see if I’m right, so even if I’m not consider this a retcon.
The Wife does have a giant butcher’s cleaver like that. I’m…a little terrified what she might be able to do with it.
It’s not a euphemism. Honest.
Ooh, this could be a problem.
The Great British Baking Show, if you haven’t seen it, is a piece of brilliance. Amateur bakers from across the UK compete, but in such a genteel and politely British way that it’s super-endearing and very charming.
Also, I do have a friend, Wendy, who is traveling to China soon to teach theater there. It’s very exciting, and now she can say she’s been in the comic, too.
