Had this one drawn yesterday, but didn’t get a chance to post it. My wife does not do well with darkness and silence, so middle of nowhere, Oklahoma, was a but rough on her.

Apologies for the radio silence these last few days. I’ve been visiting my brother, his wife, and their newborn daughter for the past few days and traveling to my mother’s house. My wife, bless her, is a little unsure of how to handle babies. It all worked out okay in the end, though.
More comics are forthcoming later today.
Sketch a Day, Day 251
Greetings from a farm somewhere outside St. Louis, MO! We are visiting my wife’s aunt and uncle on their farm today. It’s been fun: fishing, four-wheelers, pulled pork sandwiches, cows…a nice little quiet place in the middle of nowhere. Granted, my fishing skills were a little rusty.
Tomorrow, it’s off to Kansas City and a visit to my brother and his family. Huzzah!

We are on a road trip to visit my family today. We made it as far as southern Illinois (a good 13 hours from our starting point in northern Virginia) before getting a hotel room. Tomorrow, we proceed to my wife’s aunt and uncles’s farm, where we shall collect fresh eggs and shoot rifles (not at the same time, I assume).
Anyway, in Indiana there are loads of signs for a place called Boot City. This was our favorite.
