I finished Saints Row IV over the weekend. It is, hands down, one of the most fun video games I’ve ever played. It’s so over the top, so ludicrous in its approach to characterization and plot, and so overly-generous in its provision of powers and weapons, that you really just can’t help but cackle maniacally while you play. It’s just entirely too much fun, and I really am worried that other games won’t seem like they’re as much fun after this.
