Our school has been using a particular website to do grading, attendance tracking, and a number of other things for about three years now. Last week, we had a “training” in a new system that, in addition to coating us a ridiculous amount of money, only does some of the things our old system did, but with less functionality, a more confusing interface, and the teachers cannot edit anything on it. It’s great for the system administrator, though. She’s got lots of control over it. The folks who have to use it every day? Not so much.
