About Me

2015-11-20 08.19.50I’m a cartoonist, historian, writer, musician, educator, and cardigan enthusiast.  I’ve been drawing for years, and have an old webcomic, Crooked Halo, that you can check out if you’re okay with the painfully amateurish art and misguided belief that nice guys finish last (I was a dumb, naive kid).

I’ve also taken to self-publishing novels.  The first one is The Invisible Crown, which came out in December 2016, while my most recent novel is Crooked Halos. You can read more about that and my writerly pursuits at my author website.

I occasionally write songs, some of which can be found here.

I also wrote a bunch of really bad poetry in college, but no one is reading that.  You’re welcome.

  1. Your blog is great — I do not have an award nomination for you (like those who have commented above), but I will provide you with one more follower to admire your cartoonery! (And, apparently, you get a new word to describe your talents….)
    Keep up the comedy!

  2. Hello, I have nominated you for the Leibster Award – please answer the following questions on your blog:

    1. What would be your dream job?
    2. Which famous person (living or dead) would you like to live on a desert island with?
    3. What is your favourite biscuit?
    4. What would your dream holiday be?
    5. What is your favourite book?
    6. If you had a super power, what would it be?
    7. Top bunk or bottom bunk and why?
    8. Who makes you laugh?
    9. What scares you?
    10. Can you remember a time when you were embarrassed?
    11. What is your greatest success?

Then nominate 3-5 other bloggers with less than 3000 followers.

Cheers! Look forward to reading your blogs/ seeing your strips. No, that doesn’t sound good, does it Thanks for all the entertainment.

    1. Thanks. I don’t actually usually do the whole blog awards thing. It feels more than a little self-congratulatory, and I’m pretty awful about finding other blogs to recommend for the things. I appreciate the thought, though, and hope you’re enjoying the comics.
